Happy Anniversary!

Oh, how I love this picture! Look at how handsome, happy and young they are! This is one of my most favorite photos that I have in my collection. I love old family pictures and have made a hobby of gathering some nice ones. On my top ten list of why I love photography: captured moments. Obviously, I was not at my parent's wedding but because of this image frozen in time I can feel as if I was there. After all, I do owe my existence to the union of these two. When I was a little girl I would drag the big brown wedding album off the shelf and study the pictures inside. I thought that my mom was so beautiful in her gown and my dad looked cool with his long hair. As a child it was hard to believe that my parents had a life before I was born. I have a whole new perspective on this now that I myself am a parent... They have been married for 35 years and have been parents for 27 of them. A silly post on our blog could never convey how much I appreciate and love them. They are wonderful parents and now grandparents too. Clint and I are so blessed that both his and my parents are happily married. What an awesome example of God's sustaining love they witness to us and to James Henry. Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!
