Blogaversary!

141 post, 365 days, and 5,000 visits ago, I started The Southern Family Blog! The grandmothers were driving me a bit crazy to send updated photos of Mr. James Henry... I never imagined that people who were not related to us would care about our family blog. By other site standards, we do not have a big following or anything, but I am honored that anyone cares enough to keep up with us! It has been a fun, creative outlet for me, and a cool way to share about our lives. I do believe that someday when we reminisce about the year 2009 it will be said, "Remember how everyone had a family blog?!" and then we will say, "And everyone was on facebook?!" ANYWAY- I am very excited to have our blog "slurped" into a hardcover book. Shamefully, I have not kept an official baby book for James Henry. As it turns out, the blog has served as quite the journal. Seeing that 90% of the post have been about him, I think that his first year is pretty well documented! I plan to use the above image as the cover. I'll be sure to post about how it turns out.
