Crafty

I tried to scan the turkey that James Henry made for me this morning at church while I was in bible study. Isn't he clever?! I felt as though that sweet nursery worker had given me a million dollars! There is nothing better to me, than a hand made gift. I was totally overwhelmed with joy over the construction paper craft bestowed unto me. I know that there are many more to come, but this was his first and of course, it is now proudly displayed on the fridge. Seeing his little face on this symbol of Thanksgiving is a material reminder of the quickly approaching holiday season. It is extra special for our family as we will celebrate his first birthday tomorrow! It is easy to get caught up in the business and busy-ness of planning and party-ing and visitors. Right in the center is our most precious gift that we are most incredibly grateful for. Praise God for whom all blessings flow!
