The new scrunched up nose face... He loves it and does it ALL the time-

I cannot believe that it is July already! I just love July. Wimbeldon, the Fourth, the heat, and going to the pool every chance that we get. It is generally against my policy to post pictures of myself in a bathing suit on the world wide web.... But, this was James Henry's very first time in the big pool.

We met up with the moms and more crew to go swimming and I ended up being totally inspired (I love it when that happens). I met Sarah, who is in town visiting from Savannah, Georgia. I overheard her little boy, telling someone that, "Daddy is in Iraq". She has four children and her husband, is in the Army. Wait, are you kidding me? She is at home, ALONE, with four little children?! I get crazy if Clint is away for more than a long weekend! I realized that she is not the only brave momma with babies at home and a husband away. It truly is the entire family that is serving our country and making daily sacrifices for our freedom. So, this Fourth of July (and every day for that matter) I will be praying not just for the men and women who are serving and protecting us, but for their entire family as well. As far as my "inspiration" goes, I have decided to "give back" by offering a free photography session to any family who has a mom or dad currently deployed over seas. The idea is to create beautiful images that the family can share over the Internet. I am not offering this small token of my appreciation because I feel sorry for these families.... It is because I am genuinely inspired by their courage and I am incredibly grateful.
